Look at the height of this mast and sail compared to the island that it sails behind in the photo below. It was quite a spectacular sight, looking at the other 30-40 foot sailboats in its proximity!
I captured this as the schooner was heading in to Southwest Harbor’s Great Harbor Marina at day’s end…Makes all of the other beautiful sailboats look like toys!
