Snow Squall Inn

Wiscasset, Maine

Snow Squall is an elegantly relaxing Bed and Breakfast conveniently located on coastal route 1 in Wiscasset, “The Prettiest Village in Maine”. Just 2 ¾ hours north of Boston and 25 minutes north of Freeport’s discount shopping, and LLBean. The town of Wiscasset is home to the famous “Reds Eats” voted the best Lobster Rolls in Maine, which is within walking distance from Snow Squall.

The Snow Squall Inn boasts seven guest accommodations with private baths, including three multi-room suites ideal for families or friends traveling together. Located on 1.46 manicured acres on historic coastal US Route 1, guests of The Snow Squall Inn enjoy walking-distance proximity to Wiscasset’s downtown restaurants, galleries, and shops. The owners have meticulously updated and expanded the property, creating an idyllic coastal wellness retreat. A 2009 renovation of an auxiliary barn yielded a modern commercial wellness building with yoga studio and spa treatment rooms. The inn features two interior public lounges, air-conditioning in all guest suites, wide porches with rocking chairs, fireplaces in multiple rooms, and a large kitchen with commercial appliances, ideal for guest breakfast preparation. With the auxiliary income-producing commercial wellness space, the property is perfectly positioned for continued success as a bed & breakfast or for growth as a wellness retreat.

They also offer regularly scheduled onsite yoga classes and massage/bodywork sessions (by appointment only). For more information please refer to TripAdvisor Ranking#1 of 4 B&Bs in Wiscasset Snow Squall Inn rated “excellent” by travelers

This is a very well maintained property and financially feasible business. Currently a seasonal operation May-October but could remain open year round. Wonderful TripAdvisor reviews.  Financials provided with signed non-disclosure agreement to qualified buyers.

A profitable yoga business in a two story 2009 addition offers a lovely reception area, two massage rooms, bamboo wood bathroom with tiled shower and changing room and open yoga studio upstairs. There is a large heated garage/workshop space in this building as well.

Gorgeous perennial gardens and a lush, level well manicured lawn are perfect for a tented event.

50 minutes to Camden
2 1/2 hours to Bar Harbor

Flights into Logan Airport in Boston, Portland Maine, and Manchester New Hampshire, offer convenient access to the magic of Maine’s ruggedly enchanting coastline, beaches, lighthouses, national parks, museums, whitewater rafting, skiing, snowmobiling, or just relaxing in the warmth and casual atmosphere native to Maine.

The inn offers plenty of parking for both inn guests and yoga studio customers. And the lawn and gazebo make the ideal location for setting up a tented event and collecting a venue fee. The yoga studio space would make a great place for the bridal party to get ready before the wedding!

This zone is commercial use and the yoga building could serve a number of uses. Your imagination and creativity can do wonders! But the yoga business is a part of today’s culture and new buyers can continue to operate.

The inn sits at the corner of Bradford Road and bustling Route 1, which is prime for business. And you really don’t see the road or traffic from the inn.
